Meet the team

Deepa provides executive leadership, oversight, and evaluation for the Offices of the Registrar, Financial Aid, and One Stop Student Services Center, ensuring operations are managed in an integrated and student-centered manner. Additionally, she serves as a strategic thought partner, responsible for leading and directing strategic priorities and process improvements for the division. As the University implements new technological systems, Deepa will oversee the business process review and develop systems, processes, and policies that mitigate risk in the context of the EM-NB portfolio.

Marco provides direction and leadership for Undergraduate Admissions and the newly created Office of Graduate Admissions at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. In his role, he oversees U.S. and international recruitment, student marketing and communications, admissions operations, and campus recruitment programs. He engages in strategic enrollment planning and policy development with academic and service partners to shape each incoming class of students to the university and meet enrollment targets.

As the New Brunswick Registrar, Juli works in collaboration with students, faculty, and deans at the university to ensure the accuracy and completeness of current student data. She assists with the planning and implementation of the registration process for Rutgers–New Brunswick.

Christina provides fiscal, policy, and internal control management in support of the mission of the Division of Enrollment Management and Rutgers University–New Brunswick. She directs and implements the annual budget process and oversees business and human resource operations for the division’s functional units.

Patty provides administrative support to the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Division of Enrollment Management.

Gary provides IT expertise and support for Enrollment Management units, improving services, standards, policies, and procedures related to computing services and associated business operations.

Jen provides oversight and strategic planning for the newly created Office of Graduate Admissions at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, which includes the functional areas of graduate student recruitment, enrollment marketing and communications, and admissions operations. She collaborates with partners across all graduate academic and service units to meet graduate enrollment goals and enhance the prospective and incoming graduate student experience.

Lauren manages new and strategic initiatives aligned with Enrollment Management’s mission, providing support across all units within the division. She identifies areas for continued operational efficiencies and improved business processes. Lauren also plans, executes, and evaluates all centralized projects, events, and communication efforts and serves as a liaison to campus partners.

Jason provides leadership and functional responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of data analytic projects within Enrollment Management. He is responsible for enrollment research and predictive modeling that provide evidence to help shape the incoming class, define admissions selection criteria, and inform the university’s merit aid strategy. He collaborates with university partners to ensure decision-making is both data-informed and student-centered.

Jay provides oversight, management, and strategic planning for the staff and operations of the One Stop Student Services Center, which includes the functional areas of registration, student accounting, and financial aid. He collaborates with partners to develop strategies to improve and enhance the students’ educational experiences and support retention initiatives.

Aretha supports strategic initiatives across the student life cycle, assisting in designing and implementing new initiatives and pilots to improve the student experience and drive student success. She devises and implements comprehensive research strategies aligned with the university’s goals and long-term objectives related to enrollment and retention. As she works to ensure accuracy, reliability, and relevancy in these research projects, she also seeks opportunities to leverage internal and external relationships to meet enrollment needs.

Sherrell is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, determining financial aid awarding guidelines, and overseeing the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid for Rutgers–New Brunswick. She is the key person in maximizing aid opportunities and minimizing students’ cost of attendance over the course of their academic career.
